A special feature of almost all standard technotrans temperature control units is thelonglife heater with zero-loss heat transfer. Together, all four product lines and both degrees of individualisation stand for high quality and reliability, as well as the „MADE IN GERMANY“ label.
The “longlife” stainless steel heating cartridges used in the high.line and eco.line come with an additional 10-year long-term guarantee.
This series is in line with the current, „simpler“ market standard which is based on peripheral pumps.

Highly efficient centrifugal pumps (also called radial pumps) have been used in industry not only since the climate debate. Almost every modern heating system is equipped with this type of pump. In the case of temperature control units, this type of pump has so far tended to be used in larger units and systems due to its somewhat larger design and higher purchase costs.
With increased energy awareness and government subsidy programmes, centrifugal pump technology is now increasingly being used in smaller, compact units. In terms of energy consumption, this type of pump has a clear advantage over the peripheral impeller pump, which was previously the market standard.
technotrans therefore consistently relies on the use of the highly efficient centrifugal pump in the eco-line.
The user-friendly and intuitive structures of the innovative ttsol logotherm control units make it easier for the user to control and analyse his process. The responsive and adaptive design allows the information units and favourite functions to be concentrated clearly and concisely on the dashboard and can be individualised according to the operator's needs.
Even from a distance, the operator can recognise his most important key figure on the screen saver. The colour coding signals the status and he can intervene even before a higher reject rate occurs. Optimised for use in poorly lit work situations, the dark background is easy on the eyes and at the same time ensures good readability.
The high-resolution and gesture-enabled multi-touch displays, in combination with the tt compactControl controller, enable data visualisations and help and assistance functions that were previously impossible. Temperature and flow processes can be subsequently controlled and monitored (across all layers). The system structure leaves room for further functionalities, such as monitoring the machine status for condition-based maintenance.
The ttsol logotherm display allows the finger gesture control that is now familiar from smartphones and tablets. Zooming, shifting and swiping is intuitive and facilitates orientation and analysis, especially in trend monitoring.
Process-specific parameters can be saved as a recipe with user-specific comments and reloaded at any time.
The generous screen keypad facilitates input considerably compared to conventional unit displays.
Started with the teco cs temperature control unit series, the ttsol logotherm display and design will be introduced step by step in the rest of the unit product range.
In addition to the basic advantages of the innovative concept, a uniform appearance and operating concept for single-circuit temperature control units, multi-circuit systems and other units makes the operator's daily work easier.
Many technotrans solutions temperature control units already meet the cleanroom requirements of ISO Class 6 and 7 in the standard version.
The combination of temperature control unit and water distributor with ultrasonic flow sensors also meets ISO Class 7.
The cleanroom classes were determined under standardised measuring conditions in the test room of the Technical University in Rosenheim.
Efficiency and durability are essential criteria when selecting the cartridge heater design in the unit. Due to the significantly better heat transfer and thus higher efficiency compared to indirect heating, direct heat transfer is the clearly preferred variant.
In the last 20 years, user behaviour, water qualities and the available stainless steel materials, among other things, have changed so positively that, in combination with innovative control concepts and design solutions such as guided flow, solid-state relays and multiple safety circuits, the failure rate of cartridge heaters with direct heat transfer has been reduced to a minimum.
technotrans therefore continues to rely on efficient and ultra-fast direct heating and provides a supplementary 10-year long-term guarantee on its "longlife" cartridge heaters used in the high-line, eco.line and flex.line.
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) provides funding.
As of 01 January 2019, the BMWi has bundled energy efficiency funding for companies, simplified it and made it more flexible. The new investment programme "Energy efficiency and process heat from renewable energies in industry" offers companies plenty of scope to save money and reduce CO2 emissions.
The Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, BAFA for short, provides subsidies for the use of highly efficient cross-sectional technologies - also in the area of temperature control and cooling technology. The programme comprises a total of four support modules, two of which contain relevant support measures for temperature control and cooling systems.
The eco.line is characterised, among other things, by the use of high-efficiency centrifugal pumps.
The minimum efficiency index (MEI) of the pumps installed in this series is higher than prescribed in the Ecodesign Directive. Thanks to this design, the eco.line units, with comparatively low specific energy consumption in kWh per l/min operating flow, are among the most efficient units on the market.
These units, or the pumps installed in them (depending on the subsidy module), are thus eligible for funding under the subsidy programme "Energy Efficiency in the Economy-Grant and Loan" for measures to save energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions in Germany.
Further information on the current efficiency promotion programmes is available on request from a qualified energy consultant or technotrans solutions.
Many processes are very dynamic due to the increasing use of control valves on consumers, so that the flow rates vary. Often the pumps used are also designed too large.
WHY GO FULL THROTTLE AND BRAKE AT THE SAME TIME?
Often the quantity provided by the supply unit or its pump is then throttled without adjusting the pump speed.
The result is unnecessarily high energy consumption, because even if the quantity is reduced, the energy consumption of centrifugal pumps is only slightly reduced. In the case of peripheral impeller pumps, energy consumption even increases.
technotrans solutions has been offering appropriate frequency converters for reducing the speed of its pumps for many years in order to reduce costs.
Based on this experience, gwk has developed a standardised pump efficiency module.
Due to permanently optimised control strategies and high-quality stainless steel materials - also as a result of adapted user behaviour and better water qualities - the failure rates of the heating cartridges with highly efficient direct heating used in the compact ttsol temperature control units have been steadily reduced in recent years.
technotrans solutions therefore grants a 10-year long-term guarantee on its "longlife heating cartridge" installed in the high.line, eco.line and flex.line, in addition to the applicable contractual agreements and the applicable General Terms and Conditions.
You are convinced of the properties, features and efficiency of ttsol units and would like to test the units under production conditions in your factory?
No problem, we always have a wide range of demonstration units available for you.
But as a new customer, you can also buy and test without any risk, because we grant you a 4-week right of return on units with standard configuration.
technotrans solutions relies on state-of-the-art interface technology for its temperature control units.
As one of the first temperature control unit manufacturers, ttsol uses, among other things, the standardised EUROMAP 82.1 protocol for data transfer via OPC UA. This OPC UA interface can also be used for cost-effective data visualisation and status monitoring via the optional tempanalyser app.
In addition, numerous other interfaces are available, such as 4-20 mA TTY, RS 485, Profibus and Profinet.
With the help of this connectivity, remote service and maintenance can also be carried out. Travel can thus be reduced and the environment can be relieved.
